Nitrogen-phosphate fertilizer (diammonium phosphate, DAP, DAP)

Diammonium phosphate (Diammophos, DAP, DAP) is a highly concentrated phosphate fertilizer. It is optimal for providing any agricultural crop with full-fledged phosphorus nutrition for the entire period of its growth and development, as well as a starting dose of nitrogen and a small amount of sulfur. It can be applied in the fall under plowing, and in the spring during sowing, and in pre-sowing cultivation. At the moment of dissolution in the soil temporarily alkalizes the pH of the soil solution around the fertilizer granule, contributing to better absorption of phosphorus from the fertilizer on acidic soils.

Sulphur in the fertilizer also contributes to better plant uptake of nitrogen and phosphorus.
